Wedding planner in Toulouse
Hello, I'm
Delphine

Wedding planning
since 2016
Bringing people together has always been a part of my life.
I come from a large family, and I grew up with very strong family values.
We have always been together to celebrate life's milestones—birthdays, weddings, births, retirements—and even today, we still get together regularly for those reasons. And now that we all have children, it makes for some big gatherings!
I have a special connection to Germany. My grandfather was German, and even though my father grew up in France, he was immersed in a Franco-German culture. I started learning German in middle school and continued practicing it thanks to German friends. Today, it's important to me to cultivate this language that is part of my family history.
In my life, there are some key elements: eating well, sleeping well, listening to music, enjoying nature, and doing all of that in good company!
I love traveling. Discovering new cultures and meeting new people is truly a driving force for me. Before every trip, I learn at least a bit of the local language, because it's essential for me to be able to communicate with the locals. Even if it often ends up being in English!
When I was little, I wanted to learn every language in the world.
Then I followed a scientific path, but kept up with English, German, Latin, and Greek until graduation! After 10 years as an engineer, I chose to put People and Meaning back at the heart of my career, and I became a wedding planner and secular ceremony officiant.

A wedding: the most beautiful of family celebrations
For me, a wedding is above all a unique moment to bring together everyone who matters. It's a big family celebration in the broadest sense: parents, siblings, children, lifelong friends, but also those we don't see often, those who come from far away, sometimes even from the other side of the world.
I love the idea that a wedding is often the only time all these different people find themselves in the same place.
For a few hours or a few days, they share laughter, glances, stories, memories, and emotional moments around a single common thread: love.
For me, organizing a wedding means taking care of this ephemeral bubble, protecting this moment so that it is gentle, sincere, and warm, and allowing everyone to find their place to celebrate what unites you.
Deep down, there is also this sense of urgency: the urgency to enjoy the now, because we don't know what tomorrow will bring.
